How Exciting!! This last weekend I entered 2-tops and quilts in the Quilt Show at the Edgemont Fall Festival put on by Nuts and Bolts Fabric Shop.
If you've never been there or haven't been there in a while and you get the chance you really should! I just love Earleene's store, her and her husband Jerry are such wonderful people!! Be sure and check out her site.
This is the top I entered, it is my Mccommas the pattern is a paperpieced one by Karen Stone. I finished the top but am "still" unsure how I wanted to quilt it, so haven't done that part. It Won 2nd Place in the TOPS Division!
Following are pictures of the 2nd-SECOND Place Winner.
This I entered under Misc. and is a Kitchen Set including: Table Topper Piece, Reversible Placemats, Pot holder(2 kinds)and Napkin set. With this set I also made chair pads and cup/glass mats (but didn't enter them)
This is the Center Stage Pattern By:Pieced Tree Patterns and then I added an the additional Border of the Brown Brands.
This is the quilting around the center fabric of the horses, Then did a round the brand loops on the outer brand border Fabric, with a lot of Stitch in the Ditch.
Another picture with the Reversible Placemats. The fabric with the horse heads are one that I also made matching Chair covers with and reversible cup/glass holders.
This picture includes the potholders and Napkins that I entered.
