Then it will be ready to put the sashing and cornerstones in-between the blocks (which are cut and ready to sew) and get on the LA. I haven't quite decided yet how big the borders will be or if it will have one or two. I have been trying to decide if I wanted to change on the last row, how the snomen hang. What I mean is as it hangs off the bed have the hanging so you see them the right way rather then like the main top part will be. "Clear as mud" right? Like in the below picture if you look on the left you can see the ones I have turned so if someone is standing on that side the will see the snoman looking at them.

OMGoodness -- this is a beautiful quilt. I really like the little blocks you're doing in the different sizes and colorways.
ReplyDeleteI think the snowman quilt is Fab! I also have the Farmer's wife planned next. Sigh, I make changes on the fly on every quilt I make. It will be great no matter what border/s you do!
ReplyDeleteI love the snowman quilt. The darker sashing really adds definition to the blocks :)
ReplyDeleteThese look like fun blocks to sew. Great idea to turn the edge blocks to have the snowmen facing the right way when it lays on the bed.
