I discovered how fun quilting was over 7 years ago. I still sew on a Kenmore that was a graduation gift in 1981. I have a New Kenmore 385.19, and a Viking 400, a Singer Treadle, a Featherweight. and a Viking Ruby. In February 2010 I purchased an APQS Longarm , and Love everyone of them. I taught my 1st paper-piecing class, it was such a blast!

 This Black one is Ferdinand
I have managed to finish up another UFO.
This one was also a sample for the LQS and just needed to get it quilted and the binding on. Managed to finish it up this weekend. Yea ME!
It is a Flannel 5 Yard Quilt with a Gray/Black/Red/White Plaid Minky on the back. On this one I quilted it with a Feather allover design.
I was hoping to have two more UFO finishes to post, BUT though I took them with when we went campingto bind  this last weekend I neglected to work on them.  BUT it was OH SO relaxing!
5 Yard Flannel Quilt. Quilted this with Feathers design

Back of the Flannel Quilt- Minky Fabric.
Well that's all I have for now....I am loving getting back into blogging, and finishing up some UFO's. I recently did a UFO count and came up with 37 since I started working back in 2010 soooooo... have vowed to change that to a very minimum!!
Have a wonderful Evening!

  1. Very nice work Judy! Flannel and Minky can both be tricky to quilt, so I am all the more impressed! I followed your link from the QB!
