Our Downpour (Non Quilty Post)

I was in town this morning at the Guild Meeting and on my way home when my boys called and said we had a creek in our yard. We received 3 1/2" + of rain in a very short amount of time. Traffic was very slow going of course with many pulling over. Most of the road ditches were full and some running over. The boys took a few pictures so wanted to share them.

  1. I have heard that South Dakota is really getting dumped on! I have a brother that lives in Sioux Falls. He emailed they had 16 inches last week.

  2. Last week the new world record Hail Stone was delivered in SD too. If I remember right they said 8 1/2 inch diameter.( I am so glad it wasn't here. A couple of days ago another storm hit on the road headed to Hill City, Custer and Mount Rushmore areas, many, many vehichles were hit with hail and ended up with broken windshields. It's been really something..
